Heidi + David

Block Island 2006 Finale...

I love Heidi and David, they are so funny (David is quite the character) and always laughing, you just can't help but love them! They sparkled on their day and the wedding oozed of details that I just simply had a hard time keeping the images to a select few like I normally do. Although, every week it is so difficult to choose!

My favorite photo of the day was totally random. We were walking back to the car and I saw this hand made wooden flag (same wood used in lobster traps I am guessing) with a little icon of B.I. in the stars area of the flag, so cute!

In the car on the way to the docks

At the docks and walking around

David gave tours of the island to his guests the day of the wedding (yeah, he's just that fun!) and the day after. I was sad to have missed one of the tours, but I brought work with me instead (always editing to do, lol). Here is his little list and book of Lore and Legend!

Ok, now I guess we are going in reverse here! This is after the ceremony. Groomsmen throwing rice.

Yes, Heidi, we can see that this catch is officially off the market now! ;)

A few giggles during the photo session

Ahhh, the very well behaved doggies

Getting ready shots are always fun, love the different angles I can sometimes get

Bridesmaid holding up the dress, almost looks like she is wearing it!

The absolutely ADORABLE pink polka-dot shoes! I love having unique shoes to photograph. And I already know that and upcoming wedding I have will have blue suede shoes, oh-la-la!

Heidi offering me a glass of water while they wait for the toasts to start. So cute! Thanks, Heidi! So nice when your couples look out for you so you don't pass out on the dance floor ;) (Note: I did not take the bride's glass of water!)

And some details... everyone loves seeing the details!

Groomsmen ties

Hand painted rocks for table naming. Names used were all Block Island locations

Menus

A cake to match all the dots and stripes and paisleys and...

Phew! There is so much more but the blog probably can't handle anymore in this entry ;)
