Tom + Lindsay: Another Block Island destination wedding for me!
The rain cleared just in time for the festivities at the Spring House,
just like it did 4 weeks ago. Amazing!
Lindsay's family used to have a home on Block Island so having the
wedding here was very special to her. They actually rented a house across the
pond from the old house, so she had sight of her old stomping ground while
getting ready, which was really nice for her, I am sure. She and Tom brought
their dogs over to the island for the long weekend with family and friends. I
saw them walking the dogs, bright and early, the morning after the wedding. What
a bunch of cuties they are (the dogs that is! Although Lindsay and Tom are
pretty cute too!)
I worked so hard along side with David Bettencourt
(my "favorite video dude") that I did not have a single moment to stop and just
enjoy being a part of this fantastic group. No assistant with me this time, but
I still managed to take more photos than I ever have before at any wedding,
ever! I captured some amazing images for them. Donna (the coordinator) really
made things go smoothly for everyone involved. Their florist was fabulous, the
seashells in the bouquets are awesome. And I have to get the scoop on the
make-up artist (who did an amazing job!) because she also appeared to be a guest
as well.
Thanks so much you two, I enjoyed working with you both.
Hope you love this little sneak peek if you are able to log in from your
honeymoon destination.
UPDATE: Tom and Lindsay will be featured in a
new book this fall: The Knot Guide to Destination
Weddings.

Ahhh,
poor Tom! The groom's always LOVE having their photo taken alone
;)

Lindsay
saw this shot below on the May 6th wedding blog listing and loved it so much
that we arranged for them to be introduced in a similar
fashion.
