Album Design/Layout Approval
Steps to take for approving your album layout so that it can be sent off
for binding.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR ALBUM LAYOUT APPROVAL
YAY!
The album design is ready for approval and to be sent off for
binding!
Please read all information below carefully and follow
instructions to approve your layout.
Please print out this page and
mail to KristinStudio with your payment (if one is due). Bride and Groom must
both sign the printed approval. Your signatures indicate that you agree to all
the terms below and have confirmed all of your album options (sent to you via
email).
TOUCH-UPS / EDITS:
List any photoshop editing to
do as per past conversations and agreed upon items. (This is simply a reminder
for the photoshop stage of exporting and color correcting. All emails back and
forth are saved, but it's a lot to go through, a quick summary here is greatly
appreciated and will get your album out for binding much more efficiently). You
only need to list the page spread number and which image it is (example: Page
Spread 5: pic of us at altar, fix crocked aisle runner). Anything beyond simple
skin touch-ups or quick fly away hair fixes (or similar items) are billed at
$75.00 per hour. There is a one hour minimum, so it is best to put all your
edits into one list. Please inquire if you are curious about a possible edit you
would like to see done but are unsure if it can be done, or if it is part of the
complimentary
edits.
CONFIRM YOUR ALBUM MATERIAL SELECTIONS:
Your album
selections (cover material, cover color, cover photo/names, mat colors, etc.)
have been sent to you via email. Please print out that email and include it with
your signed approval. However, if you do not send it back or do not reply to
that email about the selections it will be assumed that the selections are
correct and the album will be ordered that way. If you did NOT receive your
email confirming your album selections please inform the Studio as soon as
possible.
SCHEDULE FOR DELIVERY:
Once your album is
approved it can take TWO to FOUR months for delivery. That is the standard,
there are no rushes no matter what time of year it is! Four months is obviously
the absolute max, but I do state it just in case. After your album is approved
the Studio still has work to do before your album is ready for binding by the
manufacturer. Depending on the time of year and number of albums approved at the
same time this process post-approval stage can take a week to three weeks (this
is included in the two to four month estimate above). Steps taken at this stage
are color corrections, enhancements, prepping, paper work, and mailing off to
the manufacturer. Your album is absolutely a top priority to KristinStudio, but
please also be realistic about delivery times. Thank
you.
YOU ARE AGREEING TO THESE TERMS:
OUR ALBUM LAYOUT
IS APPROVED, THERE ARE NO CHANGES. ANY CHANGES DESIRED AFTER APPROVAL AND
DELIVERY OF THE FINISHED PRODUCT ARE AT THE EXPENSE OF WE THE CLIENT (unless
faulty by the manufacturer, however, I the Photographer inspect the albums
before releasing to you the Client). IF WE THE CLIENT HAVE A BALANCE DUE IT WILL
BE PAID WITH THIS APPROVAL SO THAT THE ORDER FOR BINDING CAN BE MADE WITH THE
ALBUM SUPPLIER. WE THE CLIENT REALIZE THAT COLOR WILL NOT BE THE SAME AS OUR
PROOFS, THEY WILL BE BRIGHTER, MORE VIVID, AND COLOR CORRECTED TO THE
PHOTOGRAPHER'S PROFESSIONAL EYE AND STYLE. PLEASE ALSO REALIZE THAT COLOR ON
YOUR MONITOR IS NOT HOW THE PHOTOS WILL LOOK AS YOUR MONITOR IS MOST LIKELY NOT
PROPERLY CALIBRATED. WE THE CLIENT APPROVE THE LAYOUT AND ACCEPT THE ALBUM AS
SHOWN AND HAVE 100% CONFIDENCE IN THE PHOTOGRAPHER'S COLOR CORRECTION SKILLS.
Thank you.
